Geologic map of the Pine Mountain and Uchee belts of Alabama and western Georgia.

Circled numbers are stops made on a field trip, "Mylonites and other fault-related rocks of the Pine Mountain and Uchee belts of eastern Alabama and western Georgia," conducted by Mark Steltenpohl and Tom Hanley on March 29, 1997, in connection with the Southeast section meeting of the Geological Society of America hosted by the Department of Geology, Auburn University.

The map is based on work done by Crickmay, Bentley and Neathery, Jim Sears, Steve Schamel, Mark Steltenpohl, and Tom Hanley

This map was hand digitized using CorelDraw4. Corel was used to shrink it to 50% of the full page and then it was saved as a 640x480 .gif file with dithered colors and 75 dpi resolution.
